FCS Channel Business Partnership with ECnex Brings Hospitality Solutions to Caribbean/Latin America
New agreement ensures FCS solution availability to all properties around the globe
FCS Computer Systems (FCS), the most comprehensive hospitality solutions and services provider, is pleased to announce the recent signing of a partnership with ECnex, a leading Internet connectivity provider for hotels throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Via the new association, properties throughout the region will now gain access to the industry's most advanced operational and guest satisfaction enhancing solutions.
"As a company with a rich background in providing a needed service to properties around Latin America and the Caribbean, we are very excited at the prospect of expanding our offerings to include solutions that can assist with virtually any operational task," said Ernesto Romero, Director General at ECnex. "Many of the solutions offered by FCS leverage existing infrastructure and investment commitments already made by our clients and provide a way to easily deploy new services to their end customers in a cost effective way."
The extensive range of FCS solutions now offered to ECnex clients includes innovative platforms such as e-Connect, an automated guest service request and interdepartmental work order dispatch system; and e- Housekeeping, a unique property-hosted solution that is specifically designed to streamline the entire staff room assignment and management process, including cleaning, maintenance, laundry, and inventory control.
Complementing the FCS operation management suite that will also be available to ECnex customers is i-Guest, the ultimate mobile app tool that provides guests with up-to-date hotel information. "ECnex is very much looking forward to deploying i-Guest as an opportunity for our customers to procure and develop a closer relationship with their guests," says Romero. "This will also allow them to provide many additional hotel products and services that are normally not as easily accessible as a few clicks away."
Since its inception in 1982, FCS has consistently expanded its presence around the world and continues to offer leading hospitality technology solutions to hotels in more than 32 countries. The latest partnership with ECnex extends FCS' ability to offer its services to the last remaining region previously without coverage; in effect transforming FCS into a truly global company.
"With the hospitality market growing significantly in both Latin America and the Caribbean, we felt it necessary to provide the same effective solutions to properties within those areas as we already do to other expanding regions such as China, India and the Middle East," said Cris Davidson, Senior Director of the Americas at FCS. "With the complete range of FCS solutions now readily available, we are thrilled to provide Latin American and Caribbean hotels with the best operation management tools that can ensure success."
FCS will officially launch availability of its complete solution set in Latin America and the Caribbean during HITEC 2014, taking place June 24-26 in Los Angeles. The event will also allow FCS to exhibit its wide range of technology solutions at booth #409.
