Today NH Hotel Group's

strategy of getting to a single technology platform for all hotel management has started to become a reality, thanks to the brandwide rollout of the Indra Travel Management Suite. All back-office functions (including Finance, Sales, Management Control, Procurement, Fixed Assets and Invoicing modules) have been rolled out for NH Hotel Group's global headquarters and more than 50 percent of the brand portfolio. Additionally, Indra's TMS for Global Customer Profile has been implemented for the entire hotel chain (representing 380+ hotels across 25+ countries) with more than 15 million profiles loaded.

Over the next few months, this world class "top 25" hotel chain will use

Indra's SAP-based TMS platform to bring its property and central functions online (including PMS, CRS, Loyalty, Events, POS, Sales & Catering, Spa, Website, etc.) over a single integrated holistic solution.

Indra is one of the world's largest IT consulting and

technology multinational companies. SAP is the No. 1-ranked ERP business platform with 25.5 percent worldwide market share. Indra's TMS solutions support all the business needs of a hotel chain or management company in one comprehensive system, hosted in the cloud or on-premise. Each module of the TMS suite is also available separately, and hoteliers can take advantage of Indra's unparalleled interface capabilities to integrate these powerful applications with their existing systems from other vendors.

"The time had come for us to make a leap forward and look for an integrated IT platform (back-office

and front-office), and that meant evaluating other solutions," said Alu Rodriguez, NH Hotel Group CIO. "We were familiar with SAP, as it is the leading global supplier of enterprise applications in the market, and it has a proven commitment to innovation and integration of new technologies. Indra, as a member of the exclusive club of SAP® Global Partners, and co-innovation partner for the hospitality industry, has an industry specific solution suite for SAP (TMS) which covers all the operation needs of hotel chains. With those two forces combined, we knew our enterprise would flourish if it operated within Indra's Travel Management Suite.

"Since Indra has already preconfigured and improved SAP standard ERP functionalities to the needs of

the hospitality industry, implementing the ERP platform was simple and quick, and errors and risks were drastically reduced," she said. "Indra not only delivered on its promise to implement the back- office deployment in seven months, but the transition and substitution effort was done with minimal disruption to the business."

She said the Group is already experiencing the ambitious cost savings plan that was forecasted when

evaluating the platform substitution business case.

Phase I of the project, which included roll out of the TMS for ERP solution, began in June 2013 and went

live in January 2014. At the present time, Indra's TMS for PMS and TMS for WEB modules are being added, and will go live next month (with a final roll-out to all countries and properties to follow with Phase II).

"We look forward to rolling out Phase II so that NH can really begin using the power of having one

single view of guest, operations and back-office data and processes to engage in a much more personalized way with our guests " Rodriguez added. "Having everything in one system enables us hoteliers to do things in new ways, reacting faster to market and demand changes, and delivering consistent experiences in an efficient and effective way."

Connie Rheams, Indra senior vice president, had this to say: "We had an aggressive go-live plan for

Phase I, and the Indra team undoubtedly delivered. More importantly, NH is extremely pleased, and the brand is already experiencing the planned costs savings of our initial commitment. This project underlines Indra's capabilities to deliver complex solutions and add value quickly and unequivocally."
