London – September 11, 2014 – Tourico Holidays, a global leader in wholesale travel brokerage, today announced that its year-over-year revenue on London-based travel has grown by 28%, driven largely by an increase in traveler demand and the performance of key hotel partners, including Wyndham Group, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, and Park Plaza Group. As a result of the increased activity surrounding London travel, Tourico will double the size of its London-based product team responsible for the management of inventory and partnerships, and will introduce new technology designed to help London hotel partners capitalize on the continued rise in demand.

"London is consistently one of the most sought after destinations in Europe and it's our relationships with the key hotel suppliers in the market that enable us to meet the insatiable demand," said Neil Emerson, Senior Vice President of Product Development for Tourico Holidays. Recent enhancements to Tourico's data caching technology has led to an industry-best 97% sync rate with top hotel brands in London. The improved connectivity enables Tourico to extend pricing and availability of London-based hotels more accurately to its global network of more than 800 online retailers. Leveraging Tourico's broad distribution footprint and innovative technology, London-based Wyndham Group properties increased their gross growth revenue by 244% from 2013 to 2014. London-based Mariott Hotels & Resorts increased their yearly revenue by 37%, Park Plaza Group saw their yearly revenue grow by more than 30%, and Accor Group increased their gross revenue by 70%.

Tourico Holidays plans to vastly grow its London product team in 2014 – enhancing its ability to personally respond to local partner requests. Tourico professionals work with individual hotel partners in the London area on strategic long-term and short-term programs that are designed to meet the specific needs of every hotel.
