Magnuson Hotels announced today its 250th Wyndham franchise conversion, the Magnuson Grand Hotel Maingate Wes t at Orlando FL. Formerly the Ramada Maingate, the 444-room hotel has upgraded its brand presence to increase exposure via Magnuson Hotels' growing consumer awareness and global portfolio of nearly 2,000 hotels.

Driving the rapid growth of Wyndham Hotel conversions to the Magnuson brand are Magnuson's growing consumer awareness and recent certification to the US Franchise Registry, the national listing of brands approved by the US Small Business Administration (SBA). Total 2014 YTD Magnuson Hotels brand growth has risen 40% over same period 2013.

"When we decided to change brands, our company looked at all the different brands out there, stated hotel owner Bruce Jones. "For us Magnuson Hotels made the most sense because of the personal support behind each property and their ability to work with all the GDS and OTAs. We are seeing an upswing in reservations already from where this property was at last year under the Wyndham Flag, and as our company grows we will be sure to add more Magnuson properties to our portfolio."

"On behalf of Magnuson Hotels, we are proud to welcome Bruce Jones and his team to the Magnuson Hotels brand family," said Thomas Magnuson, company CEO. "We are fully committed to growing his revenue, his company, and his plan to become the top hotel in his market."

The Kissimmee, Florida hotel is situated just one mine from the main gate of Walt Disney World; other nearby attractions include Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores, and Wet n' Wild.

Founded in 2003, Magnuson Hotels has become the fastest growing hotel chain in history, representing nearly 2,000 hotels worldwide with assets in excess of $6.0 Billion. One of the top ten global hotel chains, Magnuson Hotels has been designated the #1 Hotel Company of Inc. Magazine's 5,000 fastest growing private U.S. companies.
