Lausanne, 13th October 2014 – The Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), a pioneer in hospitality education, and Saviva, an alliance of food service specialists for demanding clients, are pleased to announce that they have entered into a threeyear partnership agreement, due to commence January 1, 2015. The agreement provides for the establishment of a "Food & Beverage Saviva" Chair. The Chair will focus on the development of research projects to promote innovation and sustainable development in the Food Service industry.

The two organizations - both of which are key players in Switzerland's economy - hope to build a strong relationship based on common values and projects, and to share their knowledge and knowhow. In the frame of the partnership, Saviva will be working closely with EHL - which, every year, welcomes over 2,200 students of 90 different nationalities - and will thus benefit from a wide array of publications, events and networking opportunities.
