Vimana Kicks Off New Year with Opening of New Construction Key West Resort
Vimana Franchise System's Key West Inns has opened their first new construction resort located at 123 S Joanna Avenue in Tavares, FL. The new Lake Dora lakefront property opened January 1st complete with two towers, and a third new tower is expected to be completed in 2015.
The Mount Dora Resort on the Lake sits directly on beautiful Lake Dora, which connects to dozens of others lakes throughout Central Florida. The property features a unique and laid back design that meshes perfectly with the spirit and inspiration that comprises the Key West Inn brand. One of the hotels most unique features lies in their construction, which allows every single room to have a lakefront view balcony room. The hotel is also located at one of Florida's only inland seaplane basins, where pilots like to stop in to enjoy the entertainment, and often spend the night before the day's next adventures. Jet skis and boats are also available for rental. There is a steam engine (Orange Blossom Cannonball) that runs from Tavares to the historic village of Mt. Dora and beyond with themed trips. Live entertainment is common on the weekends at Al's Landing (restaurant and bar) and Al's Sandbar (bar with limited menu).
The resort also features several restaurants and amenities on site. The ground floor of Tower 1 features The Tiki West Grille and Raw Bar, while the ground floor of Tower 2 has Pastore's Downtown Pizzeria, a spa, as well as a cigar & wine bar. Once construction has finished, Tower 3 will feature expanded guest rooms and suites.
