"The hospitality industry has come to a point where it is crucial to think about the development in the next 30 years, the future of the industry belongs to young people who are passionate about it. Currently, the industry and related services have to face the reality of a severe shortage in people and this will hold it back in the long run," said Mr. Jerry Huang, Vice President, China Tourist Hotels Association, when asked about why he supports YHPS. "I worked in the industry when I was young and I know what it is like to work as a young professional in this industry. Today, with over 30 years of experience, I hope to contribute to the industry and help more young people to accomplish their dreams."

Zan Wu founded Zanadu in 2012 when only in his 20s and it has quickly become one of China's leading online travel agencies specializing in luxury travel. "The share of China's tourism and hospitality in the global marketplace is soaring, which has become a source of rising attention. As such, the importance of higher product quality speaks for itself," Wu noted. "YHPS is not simply a conference, it creates a platform for industry professionals to interact, a platform the hospitality industry in China needs."

"The hospitality industry in China is in great demand for high-caliber staff, to attract and retain talents, relevant authorities will have a lot to think about and improve," explains Dr. Sacha Stöcklin, Campus Director, Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College. "Though the majority has not come to realize the huge potential in this industry, it is clear to see a huge demand for professionals. YHPS has offered an ideal platform to people to get to know the basics and core of the industry. It provides constant industry updates and job opportunities in order to help people succeed step by step."

"What YHPS creates is a window of opportunity for people looking to further themselves in the hospitality industry in China – the most vibrant and exciting market in the world for hotels," says Charles He, Managing Director of the event organizer Alliance Advisory & Hospitality Management.
