Thomas Cook continues to grow its impressive concept hotel portfolio with the launch of Casa Cook Rhodes, Greece due to open in May 2016. The ninety room boutique property will be located in the beautiful hillsides of Kolymbia and is tailored for those in search of a stylish home away from home.

In line with the company strategy for profitable growth and differentiation Casa Cook has been created, complimenting the existing five hotel brands – SENTIDO, SunConnect, Sunwing, Sunprime and smartline.

Casa Cook differs from traditional hotel concepts; it is not an all-Inclusive resort hotel, it is designed to be a fusion between the local destination and the lifestyle requirements of its target group. Casa Cook targets a new and growing group of young modern travelers, from urban centres who have an affinity for fashion and design and are searching for a healthy work-life-balance.

Each Casa Cook hotel will have its own personality and be as individual as a home with its own design story reflecting its local environment, culture and lifestyle. Each property will have individually selected artwork and vintage furniture to create a relaxed atmosphere and a stylish boho-chic environment. Casa Cook employees are ´ambassadors´, inspiring guests to explore by sharing their local knowledge and insight on traditions to offer a truly authentic holiday experience.

Casa Cook Rhodes is being designed by Michael Schickinger, Creative Director of Lambs & Lions, and interior designer Annabell Kutucu. Each room will be newly decorated and either have swim-up pool access or a private pool.

To support the more relaxed environment, the restaurant is not restricted to fixed opening hours so guests can enjoy food all day. The menu uses selected local and regional ingredients focusing on healthy local dishes as well as changing international food trends. The hotel will feature cozy secluded snugs for privacy and relaxation but will also have open social spaces between the bar and swimming pool scattered with large seat cushions, daybeds, long tables and hammocks.

Casa Cook Rhodes will have an extensive health and well-being offering, including yoga, Pilates, massages fully equipped state of the art gym. All Casa Cook hotels will offer beach cruise bicycles for guests to explore the hotels surroundings.

Thomas Cook plans up to three further Casa Cook hotels by summer 2017.
