Today, EyeforTravel publically announced the 12 finalists for their annual Start-up village, part of the San Francisco Summit. The event, taking place on March 14, will see these exciting finalists get the chance to be crowned the Startup of the Year, but will have to impress a panel of experienced travel professionals, entrepreneurs and investors to get there.

This year's judges include Matt Zito, Founder of Travel Startups and one of the leading ambassadors for emerging travel companies throughout the world, and Kevin McLaughlin, Founder and CEO of Ticket Project amongst other ventures. The other judges are Kerri Ann Zeil, one of the key directors for Amadeus' startups ventures, alongside Zaid Al-Husseini, VP of Product at Gogobot and all round entrepreneurial buff.

"We have always been inundated with startups asking to be a part of our events, and given San Francisco's prominence on the global startup stage, we think this is the ideal platform to get these fledgling brands out there" said Tim Gunstone, Managing Director of EyeforTravel, and one of the early round judges for the selection process.

Some of the finalists who will be presenting at the event include Biz Airlines, a business travel booking solution that takes executives from point to point in the most convenient and stress free way possible, and travel itinerary personalizer Inspirock, which helps you get the most out of every minute of your vacation.

Other finalists include content marketing startup Lumanu, Egyptian based tourism platform Triptab and airline seat selecting service Seatwizer. To see a full list of the 2016 finalists, just follow use this web address: http://events.eyefortravel.com/startup-village/meet-the-finalists.php
