TUCSON, Ariz. – Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa today announced it has upgraded its commission structure to ensure travel professionals are paid for the full value of every booking at the all-inclusive resort. The resort also launched a summer bonus to thank agents for their support.

Beginning June 15, Miraval's standard 10 percent commission to travel professionals will include every component of booked packages, including accommodations, resort credits, airport transfers, meals, snacks, nonalcoholic beverages, healthy-living lectures and yoga, fitness and meditation classes.

As a special bonus to thank travel professionals for their loyalty, Miraval will pay a 15 percent commission on all new bookings for stays in June, July and August.

Tom Botts, Miraval Group senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said the commission structure was upgraded in direct response to agent feedback. "Travel advisors are valued partners," he said. "We will continue to work closely with them as we grow the Miraval brand."

Travel professionals can book Miraval Arizona Resort & Spa packages under GDS chain code YX or by calling the resort directly at 800-232-3969.

Miraval Group, owned by affiliates of KSL Capital Partners LLC, recently launched a nationwide expansion program with the opening of the first Miraval Life in Balance Spa at the five-star Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California.
