Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) continues to expand its development in China with the recent opening of Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang, under the flagship Marriott Hotels brand in Qianjiang New Town CBD, Hangzhou. Under the management agreement with Hangzhou UDC Group, this hotel is the first Marriott Hotels brand in Hangzhou, known as "Paradise on Earth" and renowned for its natural beauty, enabling guests to travel brilliantly in this fabulous destination.


Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang enjoys a unique geographical location in Qianjiang New Town CBD by the Qiantang River overlooking the breathtaking view of river tide. Next to the metro line, the hotel has convenient transportation accessibility. It is just a 34-minute drive from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, and a 20-minute drive from Hangzhou East Railway Station.

The hotel offers 348 spacious guest rooms, including 283 elegant and luxurious guestrooms and suites featuring scenic views overlooking the Qiantang River. The rooms are designed with an upgraded look with tailored solutions that are as inventive as the guest, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and services. The elevated design and decor reflects deluxe style that will create that unique experience for travelers.

Under the management of international famed catering, Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang is set to become another five-star dining destination in Qianjiang providing guests with a variety of dining experiences. Man Ho Restaurant serves authentic Cantonese cuisine using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. Shin Jufeatures traditional Japanese food in a modern yet casual ambiance. Chefs on stage are presented in open kitchens using the freshest seafood and the highest quality beef, as well as an extensive list of sakes and sake cocktails. The brand's signature greatroom lobby concept offers an integrated lobby and lounge experience for guests to use for business, leisure or time to themselves. City Bistro, an all-day dining restaurant features live cooking stations and outdoor seating, serves western buffet and an à la carte menu.

The hotel offers a range of wellness options for travelers with a Fitness Center and an indoor swimming pool that open 24 hours a day and a spa center with six individual treatment rooms, enabling guests to feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

Hangzhou Marriott Hotel Qianjiang offers 1,850 square meters of multi-functional meeting space, including an elegant 700-square-meter Grand Ballroom, 400-square-meter Junior Ballroom and 10 multi-functional rooms, all rooms feature natural light and are equipped with state-of-the-art systems. It is a perfect location for both small and large scale gatherings, private meetings and opulent gala events. The 300-square-meter outdoor lawn terrace by the river can accommodate up to 200 guests, making it a very desirable venue for weddings and cocktail parties.
