Hong Kong -- JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts and Christie's are delighted to announce a special preview exhibition of fine and rare timepieces on Friday, 18 November at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, as part of Conversations with Christie's a global event series from the two luxury brand partners.

40 timeless horological pieces from legendary watchmakers such as Patek Philippe and Rolex will be on display. These extraordinary items will delight watch enthusiasts and aficionados alike with their rarity, exquisite craftsmanship, classic design, and technical innovation. Held at the Riedel Room in JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong's newly renovated Bar Q88, the exhibition will be open to the public on Friday, 18 November from 10am – 3.30pm. Exhibition highlights include:

  • A unique 18k white gold triangular bracelet watch from Patek Philippe with diamond crystal glass, manufactured in 1991
  • A Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with 18k white gold and diamond-set automatic chronograph wristwatch with bracelet and rainbow-coloured multi-gem set bezel circa 2012
  • A limited edition 18k white gold automatic world time wristwatch with moon phases, made in 2014 to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe

The Hong Kong edition will be the only event in Asia in the series, which brings a series of exclusive events, online articles and videos as a multi-faceted platform to engage collectors worldwide and a growing community of enthusiasts. Launched in September 2016, the inaugural event was held at JW Marriott London Grosvenor House with vintage handbags by iconic designer Hermès. JW Marriott Chicago followed with a presentation of select highlights from The Golden Age of Baseball, showcasing a remarkable assemblage of baseball memorabilia and photography.

To mark the finale of Conversations with Christie's in Hong Kong, JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong will be hosting a social media photo contest for three participants to win a HK $1,000 food and beverage voucher available for the newly revamped restaurant, The Lounge.
