Today, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the world's leading institution in hospitality management education, announces the publication of its much-awaited Lausanne Report, an inspirational analysis of two years of extensive market research and exclusive interviews with prominent business leaders. The study provides readerfriendly reflection on some of the most important forces that are shaping today's world and their long-term impact on the hospitality industry. The Lausanne Report challenges a conventionally unilateral thought process and enriches the debate on future risks and opportunities within the industry.

Led by Dr. Ray Iunius, former Director of Business Development at EHL, the publication explores six important aspects of the industry, ranging from technology and human interactions to security and market structures. The Lausanne Report is the result of hours of interviews with pioneers and business leaders from around the world. It draws from dozens of reports and hundreds of articles looking at future hospitality industry trends. It reflects on opposing scenarios that can take place between today and 2030 and looks at their reasons and consequences.

Pleased with the final product, Michel Rochat, CEO of EHL Group, has said: "What we have produced isn't an endpoint. Rather, the Lausanne Report is the starting point in a new era of collaborative reflection with our prominent faculty members. EHL takes pride in what it contributes to the industry and the Lausanne Report is no exception. I am confident that the close collaboration with some of the brightest global business leaders will spark the right conversations to navigate across the next couple of decades."

To give space and time for meaningful conversation to take place on each subject, the six chapters of the Lausanne Report will be independently released at a one-month interval on http://lr2030.ehl.edu. For those who are impatient to discover the full report, it can be ordered in its entirety here. The attached executive summary gives a preliminary view of the six chapters and the opposing theories discussed.
