M&R Appoints Area General Manager for Two JFK-Area Hotels
GREAT NECK, N.Y. -- M&R Hotel Management today announced the appointment of Z.B. Moham, a 25-year lodging veteran, as area general manager to oversee two of its four hotels near John F. Kennedy International Airport: the 73-room Days Inn Jamaica – JFK Airport and the 87-room Best Western JFK Airport Hotel.
Prior to joining M&R, Moham was area general manager for the Best Western Plus Seaport Inn Downtown and The Gem Hotel SoHo, both in Lower Manhattan. From 2005 to 2006, he was general manager of the Best Western Plus Seaport Inn. He was assistant general manager of the former DoubleTree by Hilton JFK from 2002-2004 before being promoted to general manager in 2004.
Earlier in his career, Moham served in increasingly responsible front desk positions at the Ramada Plaza Hotel LaGuardia Airport in Queens and, starting in 1992, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel New York City − Times Square and The Kimberly, A Boutique Suite Hotel, both in Manhattan.

Moham studied at Hunter College and Vaughn College, both in New York. He is certified in food safety protection, boiler operations and fire safety.
M&R Hotel Management's other hotels at JFK Airport are the 201-room Holiday Inn New York JFK Airport Area and the 128-room Holiday Inn Express New York JFK Airport Area.
In addition, M&R Hotel Management operates two other hotels in Queens, five in Manhattan, three on Staten Island and one in Nassau County. The company's newest hotel, the Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Manhattan Central Park, opened on West 58th Street in October 2016.
