French hotel goliath Accor, one of the world's biggest hotel operators, has announced a new project in collaboration with Dubai developers Nakheel on the prestigious island oasis of Palm Jumeirah in the United Arab Emirates. The stunning new hotel project will be entitled PALM360 and will expand Accor's luxury Raffles brand in the region to comprise of Raffles The Palm Dubai Hotel and Raffles Residences. The project is the result of a management agreement signed between Accor and Nahkeel and was announced at a signing ceremony at the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), recently held in Cannes, France. The project is slated to open its doors in 2021 and will be the first Raffles hotel in Dubai.

The complex will be composed of a 125-key Raffles hotel and 359 branded Raffles residences, 16 of which will be private penthouses boasting incredible luxuries such as private pools, cinemas and gyms. The residences will be for sale, enabling owners to benefit from Raffles' concierge, dining and transport services. Renderings released of the project show a soaring twin-tower arrangement, connected about two-thirds of the way up by a viewing platform which afford visitors incredible panoramas out over the Palm Jumeirah development. This sky deck also features a 155m long pool, a truly decadent element to the proposition. The 260m high structure will be the tallest building on the tree-shaped archipelago, and two rooftop restaurants allow diners to observe the Dubai skyline while they enjoy their meal.
