The company added the properties to its growing portfolio this month, increasing the number of independently-minded hotels under its umbrella

Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has added five new properties, the company announced this month.

Of these five new properties, four are newly-opened hotels. They will, of course, fit right in with the company's existing portfolio of independently-minded hotels that are located in major destinations throughout the world. Through these properties, guests will be able to bask in the sun in Santorini, or stay in the heart of Bangkok's bustling tourist district, or take in the sweeping vistas of modern and stylish Shanghai, or even enjoy a piece of history at a Chateau in Chambord, to say nothing of being able to indulge in one of the world's most famous fashion houses.

Put simply, Small Luxury Hotels of the World now has a diverse collection of new properties that is sure to excite any and all travelers.

Meet One of the New Hotels

As mentioned above, one of the new properties is to feature the breath-taking views one finds in the awe-inspiring Chateau de Chambord, thanks to the newly opened Relais de Chambord, which combines heritage and well-being within a notable historic setting.

Surrounded by private gardens designed by Christian Fournet, the country hotel brings together natural elements and warm atmosphere less than two hours from Paris. The house offers six categories of rooms overlooking the Château, Le Cosson River, Place Saint Louis or the forest of Domaine National and are adorned with lush velvet, wood and ceramics. Enjoy the grounds with a walk to the château, take a boat ride on the river or relax in the private spa.
