A small Danish startup is taking on travel industry giants such as Trivago, Hotels.com, Kayak, and Booking.com. But the startup is not going to put commercials on tv like the Trivago guy or advertise online with endless Facebook-ads. Instead, the socially conscious entrepreneur Christian Møller-Holst has removed the marketing and advertising budget entirely from his hotel booking platform Goodwings. That money is redirected to NGO's, who use it to fund their projects.
