London, 5th September 2018 - Fornova announced that Dusit International has selected the Fornova Distribution Intelligence to help them manage their hotel distribution more effectively to maximise their revenues and net RevPAR. Fornova's solution will provide Dusit hotels with unique insights and empower their hotels to be more responsive to market shifts that present new challenges and opportunities in hotel distribution, daily. The Fornova Distribution Intelligence platform will monitor more than 75,000 room-nights for Dusit International, every day, from multiple Points of Sale (PoS) including China, Korea and Australia.

AVP Revenue Management and Distribution at Dusit International, Chatchai Pongprapat said, "As a portfolio of international hotels we are spread across multiple countries and attract guests from domestic and foreign markets. It is critical for us to understand how our guests find and book with us at every destination from different regions, otherwise, we risk losing out. Fornova Distribution Intelligence provides us with the scale and ability to continuously monitor from multiple Points-of-Sale and manage our diverse partner relationships more effectively."

Fornova Distribution Intelligence has been rolled out across Dusit International portfolio of 29 hotels. The hotels are using the platform to monitor how their inventory is being sold on multiple channels including Online Travel Agents (OTA) and Meta Search Engines (MSE) across all PoS. Fornova's patented visual web-analysis technology for extracting and aggregating information from websites provides hotels with screenshot evidence and actionable intelligence to make it easier to manage partner relationships. "It is always easier to manage relationships with contracted partners, but indirect and uncontracted partners are harder to deal with. Having clear data and screenshot evidence makes it easier for our hotels" added Chatchai.

CEO, Dori Stein, said, "We are delighted to welcome, one of Asia-Pacific's most innovative hospitality groups, Dusit International to the Fornova community. They are joining a growing movement among leading hotel chains that are recognising the opportunity to maximise revenue and profitability using distribution intelligence to improve how their inventory is sold across both direct and indirect channels. In a modern distribution landscape dominated by online channels, it is more important than ever to monitor daily and respond quickly adopting an Agile Distribution mindset."

Improving rate-parity, especially with contracted OTA partners is just the first step. Working closely with Fornova has created broader awareness within Dusit about all the factors that affect distribution health and, eventually, a hotel's ability to sell every room through the best channel, every time. This has paved the way for Dusit International to focus on bigger opportunities beyond just rate-parity.

"Meta Search is where the next big opportunity is. Fornova has been a great partner to work with, always listening and shaping their solution based on our feedback to meet our requirements. Now that we have greater oversight and stronger relationships with our direct partners, and better ability to manage uncontracted partners, we are in a stronger position to focus on the next phase of our ambitious growth targets to increase revenues and boost direct." said Chatchai.

Dusit International currently operates 27 properties worldwide and has over 50 confirmed projects in the pipeline in key destinations such as Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, and UAE.
