The Loopy Doopy rooftop bar of the Conrad hotel, in New York's Battery Park, is probably the only hotel rooftop bar in the city named after a Sol LeWitt art work.

If that seems a bit random, it's actually quite fitting—the Conrad is quite possibly the most art-forward, art-centric hotel in the city.

Well before checking in, visitors coming through the building's eastern entry will encounter Imi Knoebel's "Mennige (Polygon)," an irresistible geometric burst of red, while those rising up the hotel's grand staircase will be greeted by Pat Steir's "Topsy Turvy," playful ribbons of color over a yellow background.
