Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and ETK networks solution GmbH showcase sma rt hospitality solutions at the Hotelkompetenzzentrum in Munich, Germany. Interactive hotel rooms allow visiting hoteliers to directly engage with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and discover how they integrate to create a personalized hotel experience.

In the digital guest rooms, hoteliers can see how to build digital guest engagement services based on emerging technologies such as voice command, mobile communications, artificial intelligence, room control and location-based services. They can experience first-hand how networking and communications solutions provide the building blocks to offer simple and secure access to digital services across multiple devices. An IoT hub connects people, processes and smart 'things', immediately directing guest requests, service updates and emergency notifications to the right person through voice, video, text or in-app alerts.

The 'Hotel rooms of the future' are open for visits in rooms 254 and 255 at Hotelkompetenzze ntrum GmbH, Sonnenstraße 19, 85764 Oberschleißheim, Germany.

Hotelkompetenzzentrum showcases technical hospitality solutions in a realistic environment, in harmony with hospitality design and atmosphere.
