RedDoorz Continues to Expand to 10 Cities in East Java This Year

Surabaya, Indonesia - RedDoorz, Indonesia's leading affordable online hotel booking platform, offering the finest, standardised rooms, today announced its successful expansion growth in East Java, with plans to expand to 10 cities in the province by end of this year - starting with Pasuruan and Jember. Since October last year, RedDoorz has expanded its footprint to two new cities in East Java - Banyuwangi and Probolinggo. The brand began its operations in the region in November 2016, starting with Surabaya - currently its fourth best-performing city after Bandung, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta; with the number of rooms increased by four times until now, bringing the total count to 30 fully-managed properties. It has seen its number of room nights multiply by more than six times on a year-on-year growth.

Mohit Gandas, Country Manager for Indonesia, RedDoorz said, "More than 77 percent of Indonesians travel domestically within the province of East Java, according to a JEJAK report. By the end of 2019, our expansion goals include achieving a total of 5,000 rooms in East Java. We want our properties to provide our guests with the best quality stay experience - this includes the accessibility through our online platform. With our consistent approach to our growth in Indonesia, we are excited for the next step of our plans for East Java to materialise. We see this as a positive sign for us to fully expand to not just Surabaya but also around cities in East Java," he added.

Members of the public can also look forward to a dance contest as well as other performances by local independent bands from Surabaya. These events are open to the public who can participate in fun activities and games along with their families and stand a chance to win several door prizes.
