The hotel industry is poised to move into a next phase of sustainability, where new technology, innovative programs and solutions needed to solve climate change become more widespread across the region's portfolio and pipeline. Next generation best practices such as renewable energy and water recycling are still nascent in the region, but we see the trend toward them.

The report highlights key trends Asia Pacific in usage and cost for both energy and water categories. It also includes top trending operational best practices. These key findings serve as an indicator of how well a country is doing in terms of implementing sustainability throughout the different areas of hotel operations.
