SiteMinder partners with Desbravador Software to enrich hotel guest experiences across Latin America — Source: SiteMinder

SiteMinder, the global hotel industry's leading guest acquisition platform, has partnered with Desbravador Software, the three-time winner of the Revista Hoteis Best Hotel Management Software Award, to automate how hotels distribute their rooms online. The partnership, which comes one day ahead of WTM Latin America in São Paulo, will see Desbravador's award-winning hotel management system connect into SiteMinder's platform to create a more seamless flow of guest information that hoteliers can use to enhance the experiences of their guests.

The partnership will also give Desbravador's 2,000 hotel customers the ability to market their properties through SiteMinder's network of 400 distribution channels, including the 12 that contributed over ninety percent of the total revenue made by SiteMinder's Latin American hotel customers last year. They include Despegar.com, BestDay.com and PriceTravel.

"SiteMinder is a proven partner in enabling hoteliers to achieve their full potential. We are proud to work alongside a brand that is trusted by accommodation providers across the Latin American region, to harness the information they have at their disposal and make more meaningful decisions for their guests," says Marcelo Pompeo, Diretor da Desbravador.

"Consumers today have more choice than ever before. Thanks to the endless options available to them, today's consumers can choose where they stay, how they book their stay and how they will experience that stay. Through the automation offered by SiteMinder's partnership with Desbravador, more hotels now have the opportunity to look at their data and understand their guests at every stage of their online journey. We are delighted to provide this capability in collaboration with Desbravador, a name known and respected by Latin America's hoteliers," says Mike Kantor, Senior Director of Global Partnerships at SiteMinder.

Desbravador's hotel management software caters for hotels, hostels and lodges of every size. The company celebrated its 30th year of operation in 2018, one year after expanding outside of Latin America for the first time, into Portugal.

According to Euromonitor International, Brazil attracted almost 7 million inbound travellers in 2018. Arrivals are forecast to reach nine million by 2023 as travel exhibitions such as WTM Latin America, Equipotel and ABAV continue to make the Latin American region increasingly relevant and attractive on the global stage.
