IntercityHotel GmbH Managing Director Joachim Marusczyk has launched a cooperation agreement with the sports physician Dr. Matthias Marquardt in order to be able to enable hotel guests to enjoy an active stay. The new arrangements were officially announced on 10 May 2019 during a stair climbing event at the IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd, at which Dr. Marquardt was also present. Dr. Marquardt outlined the main points of the cooperation at a subsequent fitness breakfast. There will be individual running routes for each hotel, healthy breakfast options specially developed for IntercityHotel guests and a relaxation programme.

"Many guests have a very tight schedule when they arrive at our hotels," said Joachim Marusczyk, founding Managing Director of IntercityHotel GmbH. "At the same time, however, they do not wish to neglect their fitness and health. The concept developed by Dr. Marquardt is a perfect match for own approach of offering guests maximum sustainability and awareness in the shortest possible time."
