LONDON — STR's preliminary July 2019 data for London indicates significant performance levels.

Based on daily data from the month, London reported the following in year-over-year comparisons:

  • Supply: +1.5%
  • Demand: +0.6%
  • Occupancy: -0.9% to 90.5%
  • Average daily rate (ADR): +3.3% to GBP176.07
  • Revenue per available room (RevPAR): +2.4% to GBP159.30

The ADR and RevPAR levels are the highest for any July in STR's London database. STR analysts note that Wimbledon (1-14 July) helped push performance levels, and while overall occupancy was down slightly for the month, London saw 20 nights with occupancy above 90%.

STR will release full July results later this month.
