Lodging Interactive Establishes Gen Z Think-Tank with Rutgers University Students

The Gen Z Think-Tank provides insights into what resonates with Gen Z consumers as it relates to hospitality social media and travel marketing.

Gen Z consumers, born from the mid-90s onwards, are a mostly digitally-native generation and hospitality marketers need to consider their specific media and brand behaviors. In 2020 it is estimated that Gen Z consumers will command nearly 40 percent of all consumer shopping. Additionally, 82 percent of parents say their Gen Z offspring influence household spending.
