Aimbridge Hospitality, the world's leading hotel management company, is now accepting applications and actively recruiting for its second year of the company's highly regarded internship program.

Developed internally in 2019, Aimbridge Hospitality's internship program was designed with the mission to build the company's employer brand while also building a pipeline of future leaders.

The program targets c areer development at its earliest stage with a focus on exposing raw talent to real world hospitality experiences through four structured tracks: full-service operations; full-service food and beverage; full-service sales management and select-service operations. Each track takes the student intern through different roles within the hotel, giving them exposure to management training and various leadership styles over the course of 10 to 12 weeks.

The American Hotel Lodging & Educational Institute (AHLEI), the educational arm of American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), is Aimbridge Hospitality's exclusive partner in the internship program, providing participating students with four internationally recognized certificates upon completion of the internship. Additionally, AHLEI supports Aimbridge Hospitality with training content to help the participating mentors throughout the internship process.

"We appreciate Dave Johnson's commitment to bringing new talent to the industry, a mission he championed as our past Chair of the AHLA Foundation. The internship program that Aimbridge Hospitality has launched is unique within the hospitality industry," said Chip Rogers, President and CEO of American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). "The hands-on education and training that these students receive throughout the program, coupled with the certification they receive upon completion of the program, sets the participating interns up for a hugely successful career in hospitality, and makes them highly desirable candidates for employment."

Aimbridge Hospitality partners with 16 participating top hospitality colleges to recruit interns through career fairs and informational tours. In the Summer 2019 pilot program, Aimbridge brought on 18 interns with 17 participating hotels. In Summer 2020, Aimbridge plans to have 58 interns with 71 participating hotels throughout the country.
