Direct channels, led by Property Direct, have been the main drivers for the muted 2020 recovery. OTA bookings have picked up some steam and widened the gap to Voice and Brand.com. GDS and Group continue to suffer the most--more than 80% down YoY. Lead Time has also shrunk nationally to below 2 weeks, almost a 50% decline year-over-year. Over the Last 3 months of occupancy levels have stabilized around 40%, indicating a stalled recovery. Group business is declining compared to August, most likely a sign of summer travels coming to an end as kids return to school.
