HRS Hospitality and Retail Systems, Oracle's largest hospitality partner worldwide, has set up a new Support Center in China, operating 24/7, and it is now 'live'. The HRS China Support Center will be in the "new tier 1 city" of Chengdu. The establishment of this office in the Sichuan province will give HRS China a presence in all four main regions of the country.

HRS began reselling Oracle Hospitality solutions in China in 2019 and obtained support rights from Oracle in May 2020. HRS China is authorized to provide support services to both new and existing customers. This newly established support center will consolidate HRS China's technical resources and increase its current capacity/staff strength to manage the tremendous growth that the company has experienced in the country.

"By having Oracle Hospitality resell and support rights, as well as being OPI certified and hosting ready, we are well equipped to operate within the Chinese market," said Steven Lee, HRS Managing Director for Asia Pacific. "With the support center now 'live', this is yet another milestone for our operations in China. We look forward to delivering localized hospitality solutions that will meet the specific needs of our customers."

Steven added, "Our presence in southwest China enables us to extend our reach even further. The HRS Chengdu office will serve two main purposes; as a support center, and as an office for our Chengdu-based staff. We anticipate very strong growth in this area with many hospitality projects currently under consideration."

HRS China, which has amassed 400 customer accounts since commencing operations in the country recently celebrated their first anniversary.
