HENDERSONVILLE, Tennessee - U.S. hotel performance increased slightly from the previous week, according to STR‘s latest data through 6 November.

31 October through 6 November 2021 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019*):

  • Occupancy: 59.8% (-13.0%)
  • Average daily rate (ADR): US$128.14 (-3.2%)
  • Revenue per available room (RevPAR): US$76.61 (-15.8%)

While none of the Top 25 Markets recorded an occupancy increase over 2019, Norfolk/Virginia Beach came closest to its 2019 comparable (-5.2% to 59.9%).

Oahu Island experienced the steepest occupancy decline from 2019 (-45.0% to 46.5%)

Miami reported the largest ADR increase when compared with 2019 (+13.6% to US$205.56).

The largest RevPAR deficits were in San Francisco/San Mateo (-57.7% to US$90.33) and Washington, D.C. (-49.2% to US$73.03).

*Due to the steep, pandemic-driven performance declines of 2020, STR is measuring recovery against comparable time periods from 2019.
