One of China’s largest entertainment companies, WanTing Group, has announced plans to open its first venue in the region, VISION, this November. To be located at The H Hotel Dubai, VISION promises a nightlife experience that “blurs the lines of reality to pioneer virtual hospitality”.

Although the metaverse is defined as an alternate and immersive 3D reality that replicates the physical world, VISION, which touts itself as a metaverse nightclub is, in fact, a physical destination. Set to become Dubai’s first club built around the idea of the metaverse, the space will allow club-goers and crypto-owners to turn coins into cocktails and enjoy exclusive benefits at the venue, with NFTs also available for purchase and for use.

Chris Wang, CEO of VISION and Hang Zhou WanTing Catering and Entertainment Management Co., said: “We are extremely excited to be launching our first venue in the region in Dubai. There is so much potential in the Middle East in terms of nightlife entertainment, and we look forward to presenting a celestial nightlife experience for guests and clients with VISION. At the venue, we plan to provide club-goers space to connect through light and sound, turning their evenings into a stellar visual and audio haven.”

The ambience at VISION features a futuristic theme with laser beams and LED lights. The playlist includes techno beats blended with hip-hop and pop favourites.
