The Struggle is Real:

Many people hate their jobs. They drag themselves out of bed every morning and reluctantly drive themselves to office where they see no future.

Why?

Well, that answers is quite simple. People need a paycheck. They become tied to bad situations because of their need for money. They trade their passion and their happiness for decent pay, a 401k, and 2 weeks of vacation (if they're lucky).

Reality has a funny way of destroying our dreams and lowering our expectations in life. This forces people to lower their standards and accept a position instead of pursuing a vocation.

Don't hate your job! Hate yourself for refusing to do something about it. No one is to blame for your situation but yourself.

The time is NOW!

It is never too late to begin pursuing your passion! The best time to take steps towards your dreams is this very moment! Maybe you still need help understanding your big plan. That's alright! Begin studying what you need to. Do whatever it takes to progress your life in the direction you want! Whether its reading, researching, interviewing others, or simply thinking/dreaming about your big picture, you have to begin somewhere.

You don't have to know where the finish line is, you just start taking steps forward now!

No one ever reached their goals by standing still.

Quitting your day job:

I am not advocating that you quit your day job to pursue your dreams fulltime. This is not a reasonable course of action unless you've already researched your passion and have at least a year's worth of income set aside.

Take classes, read inspirational books, shadow people that are already working in the field you desire. Do anything you can to bring your dream within reach.

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

If you don't know what you want to pursue, but you know you don't like where you are, then it is up to you to figure it out. No one is going to approach you on the street and tell you what your vocation should be. It's not that simple!

Take some time and think introspectively about what you really enjoy doing and how you could serve other people while doing that. The best business in the world are the ones that choose to serve others.

There is no assurance of success. However, you will never get closer if you don't take the first step.

Get out there and find your calling! Find out what you would be able to enthusiastically pursue everyday and then find a way to monetize it!

You are the only person that can make a decision to change who you are now and begin to become the person you want to be.
