International Resort Managers Association (IRMA)

Until now there has been no central rallying point for the resort industry. IRMA will provide that networking and education resource, offering certification, testing, distance learning, job placement services, and other tools that are needed by resort managers worldwide. Finan, IV, President of Finan Publishing Co., Inc.; David Lautensack, General Manager of Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort; Peter Rainsford, Professor and Director of the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver; Charlie Peck, president and COO, Destination Hotels and Resorts; Craig Madison, vice president and general manager of the Grove Park Inn; Terri Haack, vice president and director of Kingsmill Resort and 1998 American Hotel and Motel Association (AHMA) Resort Manager of the Year; and Thomas Vincent, president and owner of Observations Unlimited.
