The New York Symposium brings together a world class line up of some of the biggest names in lifestyle hospitality such as Designer Adam Tihany, creator of The Time Hotel New York, Brad Wilson from the W Hotel Union Square, Chip Conley, Founder of the Joie de Vivre Hotel Group, Claus Sendlinger founder of Design Hotels, Inc and Per Lydmar, inceptor of the Lydmar hotel in Stockholm and chairman of Overlook.

- Adam D Tihany: International Designer, and founder of Adam D Tihany International will present his insights on The Hotel Room of the Future, based on his recent Grand Hotel Salone in Milan, where 10 international designers have presented their interpretation of capturing the contemporary spirit of modern global travel.
- Chip Conley - Hospitality entrepreneur and founder of the Joie de Vivre Hotel Group, Chip Conley will discuss the issues relating to the financing of lifestyle hotels and outline how his creative vision was supported by the right business models to ensure a high return for investors. He will emphasise that if done right, lifestyle hotels do render higher ROIs than your typical hotel off the rack hotel product.
- Per Lydmar is the creator of the Lydmar Hotel and the former chairman of the Stockholm Hotel and Restaurant Association. His visionary ideas and entrepreneurial spirit have made him an acclaimed speaker in Scandinavia, especially in the field of new management approaches and lifestyle hospitality. Focussing on the evolution in the market since the 70ies, Per will highlight how product variety and technology has changed the service delivery of travel agents and hotel suppliers have segmented the market according to the client demand.
- Claus Sendlinger CEO of Lebensart Global Networks, one of the world's leading experts in lifestyle marketing will outline how his company has through the years built a network of technology and content resources assembling the worlds most unique client and company base gearing towards the L-Community.
- Brad Wilson, GM Manager of the W Hotel Union Square and opening GM of the first W Hotel on Lexington Square will present his insights on managing a contemporarily styled hotel product. With special emphasis on the hard and soft elements, especially personnel, he will unveil some of the secrets behind the success and how management styles influence the total product value.
- Sean Hennessey, Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, overseeing the firm's New York hospitality & leisure practice. In this function PwC works in due diligence of many major capital market transactions. PricewaterhouseCoopers also provides market analyses, operational studies, and other consulting engagements for hospitality facilities. Additionally the hospitality & leisure group is active in supporting its clients in litigations. Having worked with clients such as Ian Schrager, Kimpton, and Virgin, Mr. Hennessey is recognized as an expert in lifestyle hotels.
