#FrameLive: Inside Hospitality with Space Copenhagen founders

Creators of hotels 11 Howard in New York and The Stratford in London, restaurants such as Noma and Geranium in Copenhagen, and furniture for the likes of Gubi and Fredericia, Space Copenhagen’s projects succeed based on obsessive attention to detail. As for many studios, the pandemic made normal working patterns impossible, forcing them to collaborate with contractor and client from a distance. How did this affect the materialization and detailing of their most recent project, Dutch chef Sergio Herman’s restaurant Le Pristine in Antwerp? And what lessons can the design industry take away from this shared experience of disruption? How do you complete a project from a distance? We discuss how the pandemic affected Bindslev Henriksen and Bundgaard Rützou, operating from Copenhagen, when finalizing their work on high-end restaurant Le Pristine in Antwerp.
