Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) EVENTPATA Tourism Strategy Forum 2008
30 October - 1 November 2008
Conference Center
Kunming, China

The 2008 PATA Tourism Strategy Forum will be a key industry event, focusing on discussion and presentation of best practice in research and its application in the development and execution of strategy. Over two days delegates will have the opportunity to attend five informative and interactive workshops (plus an optional, China-focused seminar) and also network with industry colleagues. The goal of the forum is to create greater awareness and understanding among senior-level researchers and planners in the travel and tourism industry about the links between research and strategy.

The forum will be held in Kunming, China (PRC), on 30 October-1 November 2008. The Forum will be planned in cooperation with the Kunming Municipal Tourism Bureau, with the support of the Yunnan Provincial Tourism Administration.

Who should attend?

PATA is encouraging senior-level research, marketing and planning professionals from national, state/provincial and regional tourism boards, airlines, hotels, airports and attractions/operators to attend this important forum. Space will be limited to 100+ international and 50+ China-based delegates. We are hoping to create an atmosphere of open discussion and collaborative interaction.

Although the forum will be predominantly focused on the Asia Pacific context, global travel and tourism industry trends and issues will be discussed.
