Participants will also be invited to attend a free, add-on programme at the Shanghai Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal in the city’s Baoshan district, including a conference session focusing on cruise terminals and passenger handling, from 29-30 September.
Seatrade has been publishing and organising events for the industry across Asia, including Japan, Singapore and China since 1991 - nobody knows Asia's cruise market better.
A major event for the whole of Asia
With continued expansion across Asia, the outlook for cruise development in the region is hugely positive. Widespread investment in new cruise terminals is attracting more ships and more passengers, Asia's shipbuilding sector and suppliers are looking to increase their engagement with the cruise industry and estimates of five million Asians cruising by 2020 are wholly realistic.
The event's conference will focus on the growing importance and massive potential of China and the wider Asian markets for the cruise industry going forward.
