Good News for Hotel Telephone Profits - New Telecom Yield Manager creates annualized average 130,000 USD flow-through revenue

October 22, 2001, Dallas, Texas - TIV Operations Group, Inc. today announced the introduction of CallYIELD™ a Telephone Revenue Yield Management System for hotels. Describing it as "an innovative system for top-line telephone revenue capture", CEO David Larsen announced today, "We are very excited to introduce CallYIELD which represents over 10 years of research, development and deployment in hotels all around the world".

CallYIELD is described as "the telecom equivalence of pouring a bottle of gas additive into a car's gas tank each time you fill up" says Larsen. In a report that includes over 50 North America hotel clients of all types, results show CallYIELD adding average flow-through-dollars of over $130,000 per hotel. Results came from 12 month periods examined in 2000 - 2001 calendar years.

Before introducing CallYIELD to the North American market TIV says they have implemented the system in over 600 hotels world-wide.

In recent years, hotels have faced the dilemma of either losing money on telephone calls, or risking the loss of guest loyalty to perceived irrational phone markups. With CallYIELD hotels can overcome all of this. CallYIELD will improve the performance of most call accounting systems and tackle the dilemma of diminishing telephone revenues in hotels. "We realized the hotel industry was about to give up all hope for lost telephone profits", Larsen added. By introducing CallYIELD at this time, TIV feels there is a market for hotels who want to stem the tide on lost revenue from guests, and make a profit doing so. CallYIELD is uniquely designed to price the right call, for the right guest, at the right time to capture all of the revenue that is possible.

David Larsen explains, "hotels have perhaps seen the passing of the 'golden age' of telephone profitability. With the advent of the cell phone it's alarming how hotels have lost some of this once profitable source of revenue. For the past 15 years we have studied the way call accounting systems operate and we've realized for a long time that they were deficient in their pricing methodologies". CallYIELD will overcome that ineffectiveness. Intended not as a call accounting system, this "system within a system" has proven itself the proven ingredient that makes most call accounting systems more effective.

Since 1987 Dallas based TIV has evolved as a strong leader in telecom revenue generation around the globe; developing a system, a strategy and a proven methodology for more than 600 hotel clients throughout the world, utilizing their CallYIELD™ Telephone Revenue Yield Management system. TIV is found in respected hotel properties on 6 continents and in over 70 countries
