IH&RA President Dr. Ghassan AIDI receives ‘Hotelier Of The Year’ Award for the Republic of Montenegro
In a Gala Dinner held at the capital Podgorica of the Republic of Montenegro in Presence of Minister of tourism and Ecology Mr. Nebojsa Popovic and the Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Dragan Kujovic and several Ambassadors accredited in Montenegro,as well as several hundreds of representative of Business leaders from various Industry sectors ,Dr. Ghassan AIDI, President of IH&RA receive the most prestigious award of Montenegro “The EXECUTIVE HOTELIER OF THE YEAR” in an exclusive gala ceremony held at the National Theater in presence of Dragica Drekalovic President of Montenegro Hotels Association as he is representing the best leader from the Tourism Industry. The Award was given to Dr. AIDI as a Leader from IH&RA who did integrate the Balkans States and the Montenegro hospitality Industry into the most positive global power to contribute to the social stabilization and economic development of the hospitality Industry in their country. His achievement toward the social and human relations gave the hospitality Industry a new encouragement to face major problems facing its development as Labor Migration, destinations branding, Hotels classification, social responsibility in protecting children and new challenges like the effect of climate changes, natural disasters and defining the best criteria for sustainable development.
Mrs Dragica Drekalovic did mention:”Dr. Aidi devotion to protect the industry from various attempts from various Public sectors and his great success in building our Association IH&RA qualified him to be the first Awarded Manager of the year for the Republic of Montenegro and we are proud to award him this distinction “
Dr. AIDI in his speech after receiving the award mention “I am proud today to be in Montenegro , heart of the Balkans states that I do personally care . I did my Job of helping this new democracy to find its way in Europe with the standards of their Hoteliers and I do thank them for this prestigious award given to me and to IH&RA , I am proud of their leadership in the hospitality .
