Genares Worldwide Reservations Services Names Debra Taube Vice President of Business Development

Genares Worldwide Reservations Services, the hotel industry’s fastest-growing global representation and reservations company, has bolstered its corporate team with the addition of Debra Taube as vice president of business development.

Taube joins Genares with over 15 years of sales and marketing/account management experience in the travel and hospitality industry. As a regional vice president of sales and account management for Trust International and Wizcom International in Frankfurt, Germany, she was responsible for the entire customer sales cycle for the Americas, from marketing and lead generation to contract negotiation, implementation and account management. Products and services supported included Central Reservation System, specialty voice services, and Internet booking engines.

Taube’s background also includes serving as vice president of sales and marketing for Travel Tripper; vice president of business development and marketing at TravelWerx, a division of CAS Systems of America; director of global business development and director of change management for Carlson Wagonlit Travel; and regional sales manager at American Express Travel.
