Genares Worldwide Reservations Services, the hotel industry’s fastest-growing global representation and reservations company with more than 2,800 hotels serviced throughout the world, has announced the launch of the gMobile application to extend a hotel’s reach to guests while they are on the go.

gMobile is the mobile extension of Genares’ world-class booking engine gBooker, which was created to empower hotels to quickly and efficiently manage Internet bookings. Genares has now added gMobile, which gives travelers additional flexibility to book, view and cancel reservations from their mobile phones.

“With its easy-to-use functionality, gMobile addresses the increasingly mobile-friendly marketplace,” said Eugene Harris, president of Genares. “As this channel of distribution continues to grow, hotels will have another way to capture that elusive hotel booking through one of the lowest cost-of-sale channels.”

gMobile is fully featured and completely integrated with the web booking engine and CRS. Its initial search landing page consists of three easy-to-navigate sections containing basic property information, availability search criteria and existing reservation search criteria. The easy touchpad operation allows quick access to hotel searches and photos; information on room availability and rates; and payment options, making the booking process as seamless as using the Internet.
