HFTP Participates in Discussion of Hotel Technology Integration at the Annual Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin
Frank Wolfe, CAE, the CEO for Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion with distinguished hotel technology leaders at the upcoming 16th annual International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF), March 4 – 6 in Berlin. Wolfe will participate in a session titled CIO Tech Wars – Integrating Innovative Technologies into Hotel Operations.
Austin, Texas USA -- Frank Wolfe, CAE, the CEO for Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion with distinguished hotel technology leaders at the upcoming 16th annual International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF), March 4 – 6 in Berlin. Wolfe will participate in a session titled CIO Tech Wars – Integrating Innovative Technologies into Hotel Operations.
"This session will allow for open dialogue amongst industry professionals on the guests’ expectation of in-room technology and level of connectivity," said Wolfe. "The focus will be the potential opportunity for hotels to meet these expectations with innovative technologies without negatively affecting operations or profit margins.”
The session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 at 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the Hotel InterContinental Berlin. The other panelists include: Douglas Rice, executive vice president and CEO for Hotel Technology Next Generation; John Tattersfield, vice president of information resources — Europe for Marriott International; and Peter Verhoeven, chief operating officer of Ibis Brands Europe for ACCOR.
In addition to participating in the panel discussion, Wolfe will meet with leading industry professionals to raise support and awareness for the HFTP developed Global Hospitality Accounting System Common Practices (GHASCP). This is a unique resource that financial professionals, owners, investors and benchmarking information services can use to identify common practices for hotel management reporting and how they vary from region to region.
IHIF brings together over 1,700 key players from all areas of the industry across the globe. IHIF will host a variety of networking events, a comprehensive educational program and an exhibition.
