A Hawaii native, Philips graduated from Maui Community College and began her career in the hospitality industry as a Camp Menehune coordinator at Hilton Waikoloa Village.
Anita will manage the Maldives’ only Destination Spa Retreat, an Over-Water Spa with glass-floored treatment rooms and an Ice-Cream Spa for younger guests. Anita brings a wealth of global experience from luxury day spas such as the Aveda Concept Spa at Harvey Nichols in London, the Spa de Serville in New Zealand and the leading Langham Hotel Chuan Spa chain.
