How Membership Works
Everything you need to know about publishing as a member, before you choose a tier
The Basics
Industry Membership gives your organization ongoing visibility on Hospitality Net. You get your own dashboard, a detailed organization listing, and access to content analytics. What sets tiers apart is how many content pieces you can publish, and what additional visibility comes with it, see the tier comparison for that.
Membership runs for 12 months. Each tier includes a set number of content pieces you can publish over that period; some tiers are unlimited. Some tiers also include a seat on the HN World Panel, our industry expert panel program. See our comparison chart for which tiers include it, or visit World Panel Seat for details on how it works.
What Counts as a Post
Call it a content placement, or content piece; we call it a post on Hospitality Net. Here's an overview of the different types of posts you can publish with us:
- Press releases - Your news published and discovered by the global hospitality industry
- Thought leadership articles - Turn your expertise into industry influence
- Case studies - Showcase your success story with a targeted B2B audience
- Explainer articles - Help hospitality professionals understand complex topics
- Blogs - Amplify your own blog and reach a wider hospitality industry audience
- Podcast episodes - Incremental exposure and reach for your podcast
- Appointments - Share key staff appointments and promotions
- Event Listings - Add your event to the global hospitality industry calendar
- Whitepapers & Research - Turn your research into industry visibility and influence
- Development - Give your hotel project, opening, or renovation greater industry visibility
Your Organization Listing
Every membership includes an organization listing: name, contact details, social media links, an about section, and a timeline of everything you've published on HN. Your organization listing is included in a directory page that matches your organization type; Hotel Groups appear in a our brand directory, suppliers appear in the suppliers directory, consultants in the consultants directory, and so on. Your organization is indexed by all main search engines (SEO), LLMs (GEO), as well as Hospitality Net's own search environment.
How It Works
- Get access - Once you have an active membership, you and your team log into your organization's dashboard. You can invite new colleagues any time, or if you work with a PR agency, you can grant them access to publish on your behalf.
- Publish your content pieces - Submit your posts directly through the dashboard. There's no separate approval queue, and no waiting on us to write anything for you.
- We handle the rest - Once it's live, we take care of distribution and promotion, a spot in our daily newsletter and calendar listings where relevant, reaching our audience of 400,000+ monthly hospitality professionals.
- See what's working - Your dashboard shows real performance for everything you've published: views, reach, and how it's landing with our audience.
Every tier includes the same basics above. Momentum, Influencer, and Visionary differ mainly in how many posts you can publish and what additional visibility comes with it.
Terms in a Nutshell
- All memberships run for 12 months and can begin on any date.
- Every post type listed above, including blogs, appointments, event listings, and developments, now counts as one post against your membership's total. These were previously free to publish without limit.
- Unless otherwise agreed for a custom package, memberships automatically renew for a further 12 months. You can cancel at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current 12-month period. We'll email you eight weeks and again four weeks before your membership expires, so you can cancel or switch tiers with a single click.
- Any unused posts expire at the end of the 12-month membership period and don't carry over into a renewal.
- Non-profit organizations receive 50% off all industry membership tiers; conditions apply.
