The world"s largest luxury hotel chain will open its latest property - InterContinental Perth City Centre – October 15.

"The King Street Precinct" sets a charming scene for the 16 storey hotel which will offer 240 guest rooms, studios and suites as well as a sophisticated Club InterContinental, a collection of new dining and bar options plus a meeting suite concept.

Designed by Woods Bagot, the InterContinental Perth City Centre will welcome guests with layers of stylish design details - sandstone walled lobby spaces, sweeping sculptural statements, dramatic lighting, glass encased stairwells and elegant furnishings. Particular attention has been paid to curating an extensive art collection, with many works commissioned especially for the new hotel from leading West Australian painters, ceramicists, glassblowers and sculptors. Works will be displayed throughout the hotel"s public spaces as well as in each guest room.

Rooms take on a luxurious residential feel, and guests will be able to select from classic, city view or the more generous executive studios and suites. Each offers an elegant light filled space and every amenity from luxe toiletries; generously stocked mini bar featuring local wines and boutique brews to smart TV"s, complimentary wi-fi and round the clock room service.

Guests staying in Club InterContinental rooms will have the exclusive benefit of the Club InterContinental Lounge - a quiet sanctuary on the hotel"s top floor. Club guests can start the day with a la carte breakfast, enjoy all day refreshments, take an afternoon tea service as well retreat for evening canapés and drinks while looking out at sparkling city views.
