Revival at Mount Vernon Place — Photo by Two Roads Hospitality

Two Roads Hospitality has announced it will launch its latest Joie de Vivre property, Revival at Mount Vernon Place, in early 2018. Located within Baltimore"s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, the 14-story hotel will be housed within a circa-1929 building, refreshed by locally based firm Schamu Machowksi + Patterson Architects and Philadelphia firm SLDesign.

The hotel will be outfitted with 107 oversized guestrooms that convey a residential quality and dotted with references to the city. Decorative elements will include pieces such as locally sourced artwork and a quilt clad with an abstract depiction of the Chesapeake Bay. Hardwood floors inspired by pilings from Baltimore"s Inner Harbor will be installed in certain rooms.

Three F&B concepts will be introduced as well, including the signature restaurant Square Meal on the ground floor; a lobby-level lounge; and the rooftop bar and eatery Topside. In addition to three karaoke rooms, four event spaces will be added including two 1,000-square-foot banquet rooms and the Rayborg Crise Garden on the roof.
