Loews Hotels & Co, in partnership with Universal Orlando, opened the destination's sixth hotel today. The opening of Universal's Aventura Hotel brings the total number of on-site hotel rooms at Universal Orlando Resort to 6,200, with more on the way.

"We have grown our Orlando hotel portfolio strategically over the past few years, as we are doing in other markets," says Loews Hotels & Co Chairman & CEO Jonathan Tisch. "With Aventura Hotel now open, we turn our attention to Universal's Endless Summer Resort, which will begin opening next year. When those two hotels are completed, we will have 9,000 guest rooms in Orlando, resulting in 275% growth over the course of the past six years."

As the newest Prime Value hotel at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal's Aventura Hotel offers guests exclusive theme park benefits and hotel amenities. It features a rooftop bar and grill, a modern food hall in the lobby, resort-style pool, tech savvy accommodations and a virtual reality game room.

The new hotel is brought to life by the same Universal Creative team behind the incredibly-themed Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort. With the opening of the new Aventura Hotel and completion of Universal's Endless Summer Resort in 2020, Loews Hotels & Co will co-own and operate eight hotels with a total of 9,000 rooms in the Orlando market. These projects are part of the company's ongoing growth strategy in immersive destinations.
