The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Unveils Extensive Property Makeover
Now open – 603 Rooms
The reimagined lobby engages guests immediately upon arrival with "Forest Greeting," a new piece of artwork by Hirotoshi Sawada, an artist acclaimed for his nature-inspired works. Sawada's creation, which features hundreds of small hanging mirrors, acts as a contemporary chandelier and is arranged strategically to illuminate the space with a calming light. With nods to nature throughout, the lobby now features warm and inviting earth tones, wood finishes, scenic paintings, indigenous plants and a brand new boutique gift shop, which plays host to exclusive chocolates and sweets by Executive Pastry Chef Takeshi Naito, and a curated wine collection composed by the hotel's Sommelier, Yoshiaki Ichimura. Also available are premium coffee beans, high-quality olive oil, and various other food items that extend the reach of the hotel's sophisticated cuisine.
In the Premium Club guestrooms on floors 29-31, AB Concept worked to reciprocate the openness and ambiance of Shiba Park through a new earth tone color scheme, wood flooring, furniture and amenities by C.O. Bigelow, all under the theme "A Part of the Park." To further emulate the sensation of being outdoors, contemporary branch-like cabinet fixtures and a hanging chair reminiscent of a tree swing were also incorporated into the new design. ThePanoramic guestrooms on floors 19-28 boast new furniture, carpeting, and a light blue color palette that together evoke a feeling of serenity, relaxation, and personal renewal. Desks and beds have also been repositioned to maximize the space and provide spectacular views of the park's lush foliage and the city's iconic landmarks like the Tokyo Tower and Zojoji Temple. The Premium Club Lounge, available exclusively to guests staying on the Royal and Premium Club floors, has been updated and expanded to offer better views, upgraded services and amenities, and more space in an ultra-luxurious setting. Here, guests have access to a dedicated team of personnel, a wide variety of complimentary food options, tea and high-quality coffee, and tapas dishes, along with conference rooms for business purposes as needed. On the lower floors, guests also have access to an onsite natural hot spring spa and fitness facility, bowling alley, indoor pool, 11 on-site restaurants and a bakery.
"With Tokyo in the midst of a major hotel revitalization, The Prince Park Tower Tokyo's newly refurbished rooms and facilities are well-timed to serve the massive influx of international tourism expected in the coming years, and echo the overall renewal of the area," said Manabu Ishikawa, General Manager. "These sensory-rich upgrades along with our exceptional location make it very easy to combine business with pleasure, and we look forward to greeting even more guests from around the world."
