Confirming its confidence in the rebound of the tourism industry in earthquake-affected Indonesian island Lombok, Wyndham Destinations has opened a brand new all-suite resort in an effort to draw tourists back.

Located in the southern Gili Islands around an hour drive from the main Lombok Airport, Wyndham Sundancer Lombok consists of 66 apartments and 76 villas ranging from one and two bedrooms. Each self-contained accommodation offers complimentary wi-fi to guests along with a large balcony, kitchen facilities and separate bathroom with shower and oversized bath.

Public facilities include a lagoon-style swimming pool with swim-up bar, while dining options are three-fold in the form of the all-day eateries Sunrise Café and Sundancer Beach Club. An a la carte fine dining restaurant, The Bukit, is open for dinner each evening. The Bukit is also adaptable as an event space, convertible for parties up to 150 cocktail style or 100 seated.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts South East Asia and Pacific Rim President and Managing Director Joon Aun Ooi said he was confident the efforts of the Indonesia people and relief groups will ensure Lombok makes a full recovery as a destination soon.
