Olema House at Point Reyes, the newest addition to Mosaic Hotel Group's portfolio of lifestyle boutique hotels, delivers a reimagined experience at the gateway of the Point Reyes National Seashore. A reincarnation of the Lodge at Point Reyes, Olema House embodies the idyllic West Marin countryside in a 24-room retreat, just one hour north of San Francisco off California's famous Highway 1. The eclectic bohemian hideaway offers cozy guest rooms, updated cottages and a refreshed culinary program at Due West, a convivial modern tavern.

Originally built in 1988, Olema House is located at the foothills of the Point Reyes National Seashore, one of Northern California's most sought-after destinations. The inspiring getaway is an ideal starting point for great adventure, from premier hiking and cycling trails to birdwatching and some of the most picturesque beaches on the West Coast. Olema House rests upon four private acres of tranquil lawns and gardens and is comprised of three updated cottages perfect for families or groups, a handful of bi-level suites with dramatic vaulted ceilings, as well as charming cozy-chic guest rooms featuring either a fireplace, patio or terrace. All rooms are appointed with radiant heat-warmed floors and Beekman bath products and have westward views of the babbling Olema Creek, Iverness Ridge and Mt. Wittenberg.

Olema House is a local art and artisan enclave infused with modern décor and materials inspired by the destination. Standout design elements represent a sense of place, such as driftwood- accented mirrors, oyster shell wind chimes and photographic art pieces showcasing the Northern California Coast. Among additional amenities are an open lawn area featuring picnic tables and Adirondack chairs; and board games, binoculars and books found in The Den, a stylishly-furnished alcove outfitted with vintage cameras, colorful art and comfortable seating. Daily complimentary breakfast offerings feature locally-made Brickmaiden Bread, Equator Coffee and Marin French Cheese.

The culinary program at Due West, the hotel's modern tavern serving farm-to-table menus, is led by new Chef Justin Bruckert, who brings with him three years of experience working with Northern California ingredients across Marin County kitchens. Bruckert's reimagined menu emphasizes locality and seasonality, shining a spotlight on the region's best small farms including Skyhill Farms, Heidrun Meadery, Marin Sun Farms and Tomales Bay Oysters. The refreshed rotating menu continues to celebrate signature dishes while incorporating new dishes and sides such as fish and chips, blue cheese French fries, and fresh pickled house made vegetables.

The beverage program focuses on barrel-aged and reimagined classic cocktails, as well as regional wines and craft beer. Originally built in 1865, the historic, refurbished restaurant boasts indoor and outdoor dining areas and separate private dining spaces including the Clemente Garden for up to 100 guests and The Park room for up to 40 guests.
